Waste Aware Grampian: Recycle
WHAT
Recycle is the third level of the Waste Hierarchy. It means using waste materials to manufacture other products of an identical or similar nature. Recycling materials like cans, glass, paper and textiles recovers the valuable resources in waste to make new products. For example, you can take your glass bottles and jars to your local Recycling Centre or Point and they will be cleaned, crushed and recycled into new bottles and jars.
Waste Aware Grampian has run several campaigns in order to direct households towards ways of recycling their area.
